DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Diamante Lewis' steal and lay-up with 1:01 remaining lifted Bethune-Cookman to an 81-79 overtime victory over Florida College Saturday afternoon at the ICI Center.

Brandon Tabb scored the final of his 22 points on a free throw with two seconds left, then a desperation Eddie Moralbo three-pointer fell short as the Wildcats (3-7) snapped a six-game losing streak.

Bethune-Cookman, which trailed 65-55 with 10:05 remaining, kept Florida College scoreless the final 5:26 of regulation. Lewis tied the game with 3:14 remaining on two free throws that made it 70-all.

Lewis and Quinton Forrest each scored 16 points for Bethune-Cookman, while Reggie Baker added 14.

Anthony Allen posted a 22-14 double-double for Florida College.

NOTES:B-CU now 1-1 in overtime games this season...The last time B-CU lost to a non-DI team was against Warner Southern in the 2007 season opener... Lewis had scored just 12 points in his last four games...Tabb now has 7 20-point games this season
