MARTIN, Tenn. – Reggie Baker scored 22 points in Bethune-Cookman's 97-72 loss to Tennessee-Martin Saturday night.
Javier Martinez scored 27 point to lead five Skyhawks (9-4) in double figures as they shot 77.8 percent (21-27) to pull away after
Brandon Tabb's three-pointer gave the Wildcats (3-9) a 44-42 with 18:48.
Tennessee-Martin went on a 7-0 run to regain the lead and a 16-2 run to open up its lead.
Baker scored 20 first-half points, including four three-pointers, as Bethune-Cookman cut a 10-point deficit to 42-39 at the break.
Diamante Lewis had 19 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats, while Tabb finished with nine and
Ulmer Manzie.
Bethune-Cookman plays at UCF Wednesday.
