DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Brandon Tabb scored a game-high 27 points in Bethune-Cookman's 76-66 loss to Jacksonville Monday night.

Reggie Baker added 14 as the Wildcats, playing their first game in Daytona Beach since Nov. 16, dropped their sixth straight.

J.R. Holder's 20 point led five Jacksonville (6-3) players in double figures.

The Dolphins took their biggest lead at 53-38 lead on Darrius Dawkins' jumper with 14:38 remaining, but the Wildcats (2-7) rallied and got it back to 59-56

on Tabb's lay-up with 7:57 left.

Jacksonville scored the next two baskets and never let the Wildcats get closer than four after that.

Bethune-Cookman hit seven of its first nine shots for early leads of 11-4 and 15-8, but Jacksonville came back and led 41-29 at halftime.

The Wildcats return to action against Florida College in the ICI Center at 2 p.m.
