GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Third place finishes by
Jeremiah Peters and
Quamecha Morrison highlighted what Head Coach
Donald Cooper called Bethune-Cookman's "best-ever" performance at the Florida Relays this weekend.
Peters  threw a 55'0 ¼" shot put while Morrison posted a 5'9 ¼" high jump.
Dominic Harper set a B-CU outdoor pole vault record with a 15-7 while
Kelton Williams finished eighth in the high jump with a 6'7".
"We've had some great performance in the past, but this was the best for the entire team," Cooper said. "Great individual performances, but still a lot of room for improvement."
The Wildcats also made their first-ever attempt the 4X100 shuttle hurdle medlay relay, and Morrison, Monae' Nichols,

Tiara Williams clocked a 57.12 that was good enough for ninth place. The Lady Wildcats' 1600 medlay was 10
th (4:03.91) as was the 4X200 (1:36.97).
On the men's side, the 1600 sprint medley team finished fourth in 3:26.07.Â
On Friday,
Kareem Fair finished 12
th in the 100 (10.47).
Lea Tshikaya was fourth in the 400 hurdles at 59.36.
The Wildcats will be in Daytona Beach next, competing at nearby Embry-Riddle next Friday at Saturday.
