2016 – Sophomore Season
Suited up in 44 games during her first year with the program… Started in 33 contests… Recorded a .242 batting average on the year… Produced 23 hits in 95 official at-bats… Scored 12 runs… Slugged out three doubles and drove in four RBIs… Had a .274 slugging percentage… Finished season swiping four bases in four attempts… Registered a team fourth-best fielding percentage of .984, collecting 54 putouts and seven assists against just one error… Began her BCU career with hits in her first four games… Went 2-for-3 as a designated player against Chattanooga (Feb. 13)… Finished 1-for-3 with a run and three putouts against Utah Valley (Feb. 20)… Had a hit with a RBI and run scored versus Loyola Marymount (Feb. 21)… Tallied a 2-for-4 effort with two run and three putouts in the series-opener at North Carolina A&T (April 2)… Finished the second game of a doubleheader at N.C. A&T (April 2) going 1-for-1 with a RBI, double and run scored, adding three walks and four putouts… Had a 1-for-3 afternoon against Delaware State (May 12) with a RBI and run as part of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament in Ormond Beach, Florida…

Spent her freshman season at Tennessee State… Appeared in 47 games while starting in 45… Earned a team-best .305 batting average (.414 slugging percent), while collecting 39 hits in 128 plate appearances… Finished with eight doubles, two homers and 18 RBIs… In the field, Richard finished with a .948 fielding percentage on 65 assists and 80 putouts… Had her best outing against Jackson State (March 6) when she went 4-for-4 at the plate with two doubles, one home run and two runs scored…

A four-year letterwinner for April Finazzo at Citrus Valley High… Finished with a career .453 batting average… Guided her squad to four Mountain Valley League championships and CIF Division 5 championships… Selected first team all-league in her final three seasons and earned a spot on the All-Redlands Team in 2013… Played travel ball for the Corona Angels under the direction of Marty Tyson, Dena Tyson and Kimbo Howard… Helped the Angels claim the Triple Crown National Championship in 2013… Was a two-year member of the 4-H Club and the Best Buddies Club…
