Men's Basketball Gameday: Stetson

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman hosts Volusia County rival Stetson Monday night at 7 p.m. in historic Moore Gymnasium trying to snap a three-game losing streak.

HOLDING SERVE AT HOME: While Stetson leads the overall series 19-5, the home team has won the last seven meetings dating back to 1997, including three Wildcat victories in historic Moore Gym in 2010, 2008 and 2006. Stetson won last year's meeting 65-60, spoiling the head coaching debut of Gravelle Craig.

MORE AT MOORE: B-CU is 38-15 at home over the past five seasons, including some games at the Ocean Center. The Wildcats have not lost two straight games in Moore Gym since 2009 when South Carolina State and Winston-Salem State won games on 1/31 and 2/2.

ABOUT STETSON: The Hatters have lost their last two games, including a 92-56 loss at VCU last Wednesday. One of the wins is against Florida A&M, who beat the Wildcats Saturday. Adam Pegg is averaging 14 points a game, while Willie Green is snagging 5.8 boards a game.

PLAYER UPDATE:  Adrien Coleman has been in double figures for 11 consecutive games dating back to last season's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament. Last week's 21 point game against UNF was the seventh 20-pointer of his career. He was named MEAC player of the week 11/26.

NEXT UP: Webber International Saturday.
