Coleman Gets National ESPN.com Attention

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Adrien Coleman's 29-point outburst in Monday's 86-63 win over Stetson not only helped Bethune-Cookman snap a three-game losing streak, but garnered national attention as well.

ESPN.com's Jeremy Lundblad named the 6-5 junior from Atlanta the "National Player Of The Night" in his Stats & Info blog Tuesday.

The mention was more for Coleman's shooting percentage. Coleman finished the evening 13-of-14 from the field, and that 92.9 percentage shooting feat was the highest for a Division I player attempting that many shots in the past four years.

Coleman also had eight rebounds and a career-high five steals as the Wildcats posted their best shooting night as a team (63.5 percent on 33-of-52 shooting) since February 5, 2000, when they shot 60.3 percent from the field in a 94-75 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore.

For the season, Coleman is averaging 18.9 points and 7.6 rebounds.
