DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman softball returns home for its final regular-season series as the Wildcats host cross-state rival Florida A&M May 2-3 during “Senior Weekend” at Sunnyland Park in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Game one of the Saturday double header is slated for a 1 p.m., start while the series finale on “Senior Day” Sunday is set for a 12 p.m., first pitch.
Prior to Sunday's contest, B-CU will honor seniors Breanna Chavez, Shamaria Engram and Calesha Shelley.
Wildcat Facts
Senior Calesha Shelley leads the team at the plate with a .408 season batting average while posting a conference best .595 during MEAC games and 14-for-15 stolen bases in league competition. Trailing Shelley is junior Sophia Ortega who boosts a .338 overall batting average.
