HEAD COACH VANESSA BLAIR-LEWIS

"The game plan tonight to take care of Kayla Roberts and Raven Russell and hold them under their averaged. We did okay with Russell."

"Defensively, I thought we could do a little bit better. Offensively, Emily put together one of the best stat lines she's ever had here. She set the tone for our three-point shooting."

"Angel is getting accustomed to having 20 point games."

"We were tuned in defensively and talking a lot. It was like a sparring match early.

Emily Williams
"I hadn't been shooting the ball the last two games. Tonight I was able to get open shots in the offense."

Angel Golden
"You always have to keep shooting."

NOTES:  Norfolk State's 45 points was its lowest scoring output of the season;  B-CU is 7-0 when Golden scores 20, six of those wins this season, Williams posted her third 20-point game; The Lady Wildcats matched their season-high of 10 blocks; they also had 10 against SE Louisiana; Brown has had double-figure rebounding games three of the last four nights.
