BALTIMORE, Md. - The Bethune-Cookman Women's Basketball Lady Wildcats continued their four consecutive road games today as they rematch with Coppin State in Baltimore. B-CU ran into some early foul trouble with key players, which caused issues for the Lady Wildcats, making a deficit that they were unable to overcome, losing 69-61.

Although the Lady Eagles of Coppin State jumped out to an early lead, the Lady Wildcats kept it close in the early going, forcing two ties in the first section of the first half. However, CSU took off on an 11-0 run to put B-CU in a hole, which they had barely begun to climb out of by halftime, heading into the locker room down 31-24.

The Lady Eagles kept firing after the half, keeping the Lady Wildcats at a distance, but B-CU climbed back into the game five minutes into the half, narrowing the lead to just three points. However, with key players Sarah Bolden both finding foul trouble, CSU took advantage of the situation and created some breathing room in the score, pushing back out to a double-digit lead with just under ten minutes remaining.

The Lady Eagles led by as much as 13 late in the second half, but the Lady Wildcats rallied to narrow the lead to just seven with under one minute in the game. That is the closest the game would become, with the CSU downing B-CU 69-61.

Despite playing limited minutes, Euneshia Proctor also scored in double-figures, putting in 12 points, while leading the Lady Wildcats in rebounds with nine (eight on defense), and defensively with five steals.

The Lady Wildcats fall to 9-13 on the year and continue on the road for one more game as they remain in Baltimore to rematch with Morgan State on Monday, who they defeated in Moore Gymnasium earlier this season.
