DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman Softball were held scoreless in Sunday's game with Florida A&M to complete the series. The Lady Rattlers played strong offensively and shut B-CU down. The Wildcats had several opportunities to put tallies on the board, but fell just a little short each time. The Lady Rattlers completed the three-game sweep with today's 6-0 win.

The Wildcats kept the game close early, holding FAMU scoring to a minimum. The Lady Rattlers struck first in the second inning, scoring two, and then on more in the third. The Lady Rattlers sealed off the game, adding three more runs in the top of the fourth, then holding B-CU scoreless to close the final three innings. Meanwhile, the Wildcats kept FAMU from scoring in the final three innings, but the damage was done; as FAMU would go on to win 6-0.

Leading the Wildcats at the plate, Brittani Austin collected ten put-outs, and Liz Parrish earned six putouts.

Allison Garcia (11-22) started and finished the game for B-CU at pitcher, collecting six strikeouts in the loss.
