LOS ANGELES -- Another day in Cali, another split for B-CU at the Marina International Hotel Showcase tournament.

Sabrina Ferguson's two-run double in the sixth lifted the Wildcats to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over North Dakota, but B-CU (11-16) fell to Canisius 8-5 later in the day.

 North Dakota took a 4-2 lead in the third, but Allison Garcia came in relief and threw four shutout innings for the victory. B-CU, which only had four hits, took a 2-0 lead in the first when Aurelia Gamch doubled home Ashton Hinds and scored on Cesley Tafoya's sacrifice fly.

Hinds led off the fifth with a triple and scored on an illegal pitch. Ferguson drove in Amari Foster Kelsey Rodney to give the Wildcats the lead.

Against Canisius, B-CU jumped out to leads of 2-0 and 3-1 before Canisius scored four in the third. Hinds scored three times the Wildcats, while Rodney drove in two runs.

B-CU concludes its stay in California Saturday against host Loyola-Maramount.
