ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Bethune-Cookman women's tennis team opened its 2013 Spring season with a 7-0 loss at UCF Friday.

The Knights won all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches in straight sets.

Victoria Galyaeva took the second set of her No. 6 match with Clare Mendell, but Mendell took the tiebreaker 11-9 for the victory.

B-CU travels to North Florida Saturday.
