DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman pitcher Shanel Tolbert won her second Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Pitcher Of The Week award, it was announced Monday.

The junior from Los Angeles compiled a 3-1 record with a 1.15 ERA last week, including a no-hitter in Sunday's series final against South Carolina State. That no-hitter was B-CU's first since 2007 when Lanaya Jenkins beat Savannah State 10-0.

For the season, Tolbert is 6-20 with a 4.23 ERA. She's undefeated (4-0) with a 1.28 ERA in MEAC play. She was the 2012 MEAC tournament Outstanding Performer.

The Wildcats (11-28 overall, 5-0 MEAC) travel to North Florida Wednesday.
