DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman snapped a three-match losing streak with a 6-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's Tuesday afternoon at City Island.
The Lady Wildcats (3-6) dropped just seven games in three matches to secure the doubles point, than posted five strong victories in singles.
Chinatsu Kajiwara picked up her first singles victory of the year at No. 1 singles, while Elizabeth Nwenye won her second straight at No. 3. Maria Sablina, Gaby Chinchilla and Maria Dimitrova also posted singles wins.
Mount St. Mary's dropped to 4-4.
