TAMPA -- Bethune-Cookman dropped its two games Saturday at the USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament.
In a game resumed after Friday night rains, Illinois State (1-1) downed the Wildcats 5-2, then Wisconsin posted an 8-0 victory in Saturday's reguarly scheduled game.
Against Illinois State, B-CU closed to 3-2 when Kelsey Rodney doubled home Calesha Shelley and scored on Kaitlin Alamprese's double in the third. The Wildcats couldn't score again.
Against Wisconsin, B-CU loaded the bases in the first when Shelley and Destinee Williams walked and Sabrina Anguiano was hit by a pitch, but the Wildcats did not score. The Badgers (1-1) used three home runs to pull away to the five-inning victory.
The Wildcats (0-3) will face two top five teams Sunday morning starting with No. 5 Michigan at 11:15 a.m. and No. 4 Florida at 3:45 p.m.
