DELAND, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman dropped two games Sunday at the Hatter Classic .
South Dakota (10-7) posted a 13-2 decision over the Wildcats, then Memphis (9-11) downed the Wildcats 4-0.
Kaitlin Alamprese went 2-3 with a double and an RBI for the Wildcats against South Dakota. Calesha Shelley had two hits, and Kelsey Rodney drove in a run.
Sophia Ortega and Sabrina Anguiano also had hits for B-CU in the first game.
B-CU managed just three hits against Memphis. Anguiano and Bailey Conner had leadoff singles in the fifth and seventh, respectively.
Rodney, who was named to the all-tournament team, had a first inning single and was 2-5 on the day.
B-CU returns to action Saturday against Marist at Sunnyland Park.
