DELAND, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman dropped its third game of the year to Stetson Wednesday as the Hatters posted a 9-1 victory at Patricia Wilson Field.
The Hatters (22-5) jumped out to a 4-0 first-inning lead with a two-out rally and expanded their lead to 7-0 after three.
Bailey Conner got the Wildcats (10-22) on the board with a leadoff home run to center in the fourth. She was 2-3 on the day.
Calesha Shelley also was 2-3, including a fifth-inning double. Kelsey Rodney had a double, and Melissa Berouty and Shamaria Engram added hits.
