DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Calesha Shelley had two hits in Bethune-Cookman's 6-0 loss to UCF Wednesday at Sunnyland Park.
The Knights (31-13) pulled away from a 1-0 game with two runs in the sixth and Samantha McCloskey's three-run homer in the seventh.
B-CU (15-25) also got hits from Kelsey Rodney and Destinee Williams.
The Wildcats return to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action Friday with a doubleheader at North Carolina A&T beginning at noon. The Wildcats lead the Southern Division with a 5-1 record.
