ORLANDO --Â Bethune-Cookman wraps up its pre-Christmas break road trip with a short jaunt on I-4 (actually we get off I-4 at Sanford and take 417 down) to UCF.
After Christmas break, B-CU opens Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play at Savannah State on January 4 before a two-game home stand with Morgan State and Coppin State 1/9 and 1/11.
The 'Cats are 0-7 on the road this season and had a neutral site loss to Nicholls State at Samford
THE SERIES: B-CU is looking for its first win in the series the Clinton Administration: The Wildcats have lost 11 straight to the Knights dating back to 1994. UCF leads the series 18-7.

WHAT'S UP, COACH DAWKINS? While UCF Head Coach Johnny Dawkins in his first season in Orlando, this is not the first time the 'Cats have clawed against the former Duke great. B-CU met Dawkins' Stanford team in 2011, dropping a 75-56 decision.

AMERICAN EFFORT: The Wildcats last two games against the American Conference have both hone to overtime — last year against UCF and last week against USF. For the record, when B-CU beat UCF, the Knights were in the Trans-American Athletic Conference.
THE OT:  The Wildcats have played three overtime games this season and are 1-2 in those contests. Only Toledo (5, 2-3) has played more. Eastern Kentucky (1-2) has also played three…Â
MORE NOTES: Jeffrey Altidort leads the MEAC in steals with 2.0 per game; his 8 against Trinity is in a three-way tie for the nation's single-game high in that category …

ABOUT UCF: The  Knights (8-3) are coming off of an overtime victory, defeating Miami (Ohio) 80-73 at CFE Arena on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Tacko Fall was the story of the day, as the 7-foot-6 center scored a career high 31 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and went 9-of-12 from the free throw line.  It marked his sixth double-double of the season.
