CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. – After the flu and injury bug plagued the Bethune-Cookman softball squad, injury and illness left the Wildcats with an eight-woman roster forcing the 12^th and final game on the west coast for B-CU against Boise State into a “no contest”.

The game originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. PST will no longer be played, as the Wildcat's limited numbers ended the B-CU “Golden State” swing a day early.   

Bethune-Cookman will make the cross-country trip back to Daytona Beach, Florida, and return to action on Wednesday, March 2 as the Wildcats open their 2016 home season, hosting USF at Sunnyland Park with first pitch scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
