THE STARTING FIVE
1 Senior guard/forward Brandon Tabb has lit the three-point lin on fire over his last two outings. Against Georgia Tech, the Hampton, Va., native connected on a career-best eight threes, and nailed six Tuesday vs. Grambling State. His average of 4.20 per-game leads the MEAC and ranks eighth in the country
2 The margin of victory in last season's overtime victory when the Wildcats edged the Falcons, 81-79, in OT. Tabb netted 22 in the relocated "home" game at Embry-Riddle's ICI Center
3 A win Saturday would match BCU's non-conference win total from last season, as the three came over the Falcons, Trinity College, and Kennesaw State
4 The Wildcats ranked fourth nationally, and lead the MEAC in blocks. BCU has Mutombo'd 35 through its five games
5 BCU also paces the MEAC in field-goal percentage defense (42.3%) and total rebounds per-game (41.20)

PREVIOUSLY
Bethune-Cookman University returned to Moore Gymnasium where Brandon Tabb scored 26 on 6-9 shooting from behind the arc to snap a three-game losing streak and defeat the Grambling State Tigers, 87-78, on Tuesday night.

BCU (2-3) struggled to find its rhythm for majority of the game; however, when the Wildcats did so, they dominated the Tigers gaining a 17-point lead after Malik Maitland's fast break layup; 80-63 with 4:59 remaining.

DAVIS HONORED
Junior forward Shawntrez Davis has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic conference's Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday evening. Davis (6-9, 220 lb) averaged 12 rebounds, two blocks (4 total), 7.5 defensive rebounds and 4.5 offensive rebounds for the Wildcats last week as the Atlanta native aided BCU's thrilling contest with Georgia Tech in Atlanta. His 12 points and 10 rebounds came against defending ACC Defensive Player of the Year Ben Lammers. Davis collected a pair of double-doubles on the week, with three in the first four Wildcat games
