JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - -Bethune-Cookman looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season Thursday when the Lady Wildcats meet North Florida at UNF Arena.

The Lady Wildcats (3-1) had their 12-game regular season winning sneak snapped Sunday with a 60-58 decision to SE Louisiana. B-CU shot a dismal 13-27 from the free throw line.

North Florida (3-3) dropped a 67-57 decision to Monmouth Saturday in the JU Thanksgiving Classic.

In last year's meeting, Bethune-Cookman registered a 52-50 victory on Kendra Cooper's jumper with six seconds left and Kailyn Williams' block at the buzzer. Angel Golden scored 19 points as Bethune-Cookman won its second straight in the series.

After this, Bethune-Cookman begins a four-game home stand Sunday against Grand Canyon.

B-CU UPDATE: Kanesha Battle is one of only seven D1 players still perfect from the free throw line. The sophomore is 12-12 from the stripe…She's also 8-13 from three-point range, giving her the fourth best 3FG percentage in the nation … Chasimmie Brown has been in double figures all four games this season and registered her first career double-double (10 points, 13 boards) in the SELA loss … Ashanti Hunt is among the nation's top 50 in assists (30th, 6.3) and blocks, 42nd, 2.25) … The Lady Wildcats are fifth in the nation in blocks (8.0 per game); 18th in 3FG% (41.3) and 20th in rebounds (46.5) … B-CU is already assured of its fourth consecutive winning month, but a victory give the Lady Wildcats' their first-ever four-win November in the Vanessa Blair-Lewis era.

UNF UPDATE: The Ospreys' other two losses are to top 20 teams Florida State and West Virginia …  Tesh Hanson leads the team in scoring (14.0) and rebounding (8.5) while Keonna Farmer (12.0) and Adrienne Jackson (11.0) are also averaging double figures.
