DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman looks to snap a two-game losing skid Sunday afternoon when the Lady Wildcats host Grand Canyon at 3 p.m. in Historic Moore Gym.
The Lady Wildcats (3-2) erased a 20-point third quarter deficit to force overtime, but fell to North Florida 70-63 on Thursday. Last Sunday, Bethune-Cookman dropped a 60-58 decision to SE Louisiana.
Grand Canyon (2-5) downed Florida Atlantic 77-73 in double overtime on Friday.
This is the first of a four-game December home stand for the Lady Wildcats, with three of those games on Sunday afternoons.
B-CU UPDATE: The obligatory comparison between wins and losses can be summarized like this: The Lady Wildcats' two lowest field goal percentage, free throw percentage and rebounding efforts this season have occurred in the losses … The last time B-CU lost two straight at home was to Hampton and Norfolk State in January 2015; since then the Lady Wildcats are 24-5 at home …
