Bethune-Cookman looks to build on its Monday win against Howard as it travels to face Coppin State on Saturday and Maryland Eastern Shore Monday.

The Wildcats (5-18 overall, 2-7 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) snapped a four-game losing streak with Monday's 71-67 victory. They'll play two teams who posted victories over them last Monday in Daytona Beach.

IF THE MEAC TOURNAMENT WERE TODAY: The Wildcats are currently tenth in the conference standings.  If we were in Norfolk and this was March, we'd be getting ready to play Delaware State for the right to face Norfolk State in the quarterfinals. The top four teams earn first-round bye, and B-CU is 4 ½ games behing Hampton for that final first-round bye.

B-CU UPDATE: The Wildcats have shot 72 percent or better from the line in their last two games … The Wildcats lead the MEAC in turnover margin (+2.5) and are second in assists per game (14.4) and steals per game (6.7)… Brandon Tabb has slipped to third in the race for the scoring title with an average of 19.1 ppg, but does lead the league in steals per game (1.52) …Quinton Forrest's 55.0 field goal percentage leads the league … Diamante Lewis is averaging 7.7 assists per games in MEAC play … Reggie Baker and Forrest each have six double-doubles.

ABOUT COPPIN STATE: The Eagles (5-20, 4-6) won the first meeting 79-73 on Jan. 19 but are currently in a five-game losing streak … The Eagles average 63 points a game and give up 78.7 … Chas Brown averages 11.9 ppg and 5.7 rebounds while Dejuan Clayton is scoring 11 a game.

ABOUT MDES: The Hawks (8-16,5-4) downed  Coppin State Monday to stop a two-game skid…Bakari Copeland leads in scoring at 16.5 ppg, while Ryan Andino averages 14.2 and has made 92 three-pointers.
