Box Score ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- Sabrina Anguiano threw her second shutout of the day, and Bethune-Cookman used another big fifth inning as the Wildcats downed Hampton 2-0 Thursday evening  to advance in the winner's bracket of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament  at Ormond Beach Sports Complex.
The Wildcats will face archrival and three-time defending champion Florida A&M at 1 p.m Friday.
Anguiano, who threw a one-hit shutout earlier in the day in an 8-0 victory over Morgan State, now has five career tournament shutouts. Â The senior scattered four hits, walked none and struck out six.
Both Bethune-Cookman runs came in the fifth when
Brianna Sanders doubled home
Kaitlin Alamprese and scored on
Mariah Davis' single.
Alamprese, a senior catcher, had two hits, as did Davis.
