@BCUathletics Announces Compliance Restructure And New Staff

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance Services Reggie Thomas today announced two new hires as part of a department restructuring geared to improve service to the student-athlete population.

Amira Moore will serve as Assistant Director For Academic and Compliance Issues while Kourtny Lewis will serve as Compliance Coordinator, with an emphasis on financial aid in the new Office of Student Athlete Services, which combines the former offices of Compliance and Student Academic Services.

"Both Amira and Kourtny are tremendous hires," Thomas said. "Both will be excellent fits as we continue to improve our ability to serve our student-athlete population here at Bethune-Cookman University.

"We want to have more of an impact on the student-athletes," Thomas added. "Combing these two departments allows us to become a one-stop shop to take care of their needs and also gives our staff a chance to be flexible and cross-train in the various aspects of our department."
