3 Senior guard Brandon Tabb Tabb is third nationally and leads the MEAC at the charity stripe. He is converting 94.1% of his free throw attempts, and has only missed three times this season. His last miss prior to UMES on Jan. 8 was a month prior against Boston U on Dec. 8

5 The 3-0 MEAC start is the best for BCU since 2010-11, when the Wildcats raced out to an impressive 5-0 march
Previously
Brandon Tabb made seven three-point shots en route to 28 points and Bethune-Cookman University prevailed in comeback fashion yet again, taking down Maryland Eastern Shore by an 89-84 score Monday night at the Hytche Center. The victory gave BCU (8-9, 3-0) its best start in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play since 2011, and was the first road win against UMES since 2012
Soufiyane Diakite Named Defensive Player of the Week
The Conference announced Tuesday that Morgan State's Phillip Carr and Bethune-Cookman's Soufiyane Diakite was selected as Co-Defensive Players of the Week.
Diakite led the MEAC in rebounding as he grabbed a total of 34 boards in three games over the past week. The 6-6 forward from Bronx, NY averaged 11.3 rebounds in Bethune-Cookman's three wins with a high of 13 versus Howard on Saturday. Diakite had double-double digit rebounding performances in all three games while also tallying two blocks and a steal
Timely Visit
