DOVER, Del. – Bethune-Cookman looks to stay atop the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference standings Saturday as the Lady Wildcats travel to face Delaware State at 2 p.m.
The Lady Wildcats (12-4 overall, 4-0 MEAC) are one of four remaining teams unbeaten in league play. They downed Florida A&M 44-42 last Saturday for their 14
th consecutive conference regular season victory dating back to last season.
Delaware State (2-16,1-4) dropped a 59-54 setback at Florida A&M Monday for its third straight loss.
B-CU has won its last two meetings with the Hornets. Delaware State's last victory in the series was that famed 72-71 decision in 2015.
This is the first of three straight road games for the Lady Wildcats. Next weekend is a crucial swing with games against Norfolk State and Hampton.
