TAMPA --  Bethune-Cookman's Daniel Kiptoo was a runner-up and Deja Davis eighth in their races at the USF Invitational Friday.

Kiptoo (26:43.1) was edged by Lucas Kiprotich (26.42.2) in the men's 8K while Davis clocked an 18:58.3 in the women's 5K.

Carlin Berryhill (26.49.3) and Xavior Walton (27:39.8) were fourth and eight as the Wildcat men were seventh. The Lady Wildcats finished 15th.
