Watten Announces @BCUSoftball Fall Scrimmages

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The defending 2018 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) softball champion Bethune-Cookman University Wildcats have taken the field for fall practice. Head Coach Laura Watten, the 2018 MEAC Tournament Most Outstanding Coach, is excited to announce the fall scrimmage schedule.

The Wildcats first test of outside competition is Oct. 21 at USF in Tampa, Fla. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

The next three scrimmages all take place at The World's Most Famous Beach. BCU faces local foe Daytona State on Oct. 24 at the campus of DSC with a time TBA. Two days later, the Wildcats square off against Embry-Riddle. Start time is set for 5 p.m. at ERAU.

BCU concludes its fall slate against Lake Sumpter State College on Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. in Daytona Beach, Fla.

All scrimmages consist of two games and admission is free.
