DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman looks to get back on the winning track Tuesday at home against FIU at 5 p.m. in Historic Moore Gymnasium.

The game is part of a double-header with the Wildcat men, who'll face Nebraska-Omaha immediately afterwards.

The Lady Wildcats (2-1) are 2-0 at home this season with wins over Edward Waters and Liberty, but dropped their first road contest last week at #21 USF.

After Tuesday, BCU plays its next three games on the road at Georgia Southern, Florida and Jacksonville before returning home to face Flagler on December 9.

BCU won last year's meeting, 77-59 in Miami, The victory gave Head Coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis her 250^th overall coaching victory.

BCU UPDATE: BCU is 34-7 in home games dating back to 2015-2016. That 34-7 matches the Rockets and Raptors' best home record in the NBA last year … A win would give BCU its tenth consecutive month of .500 play or better dating back to December 2016 … BCU averaging 64.3 ppg and giving up 70 so far … Angel Golden is fourth in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with a clip of 15.7 ppg .. She needs 125 points to reach 1,000 … Chassimmie Brown is off to a start that has her averaging 11.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg and shooting 89 percent from the FT line … freshman Kiana Williams is ninth in the MEAC with an average of 3 assists per game…Amaya Scott is averaging 6.3 boards  a game.

FIU UPDATE: The Panthers fell to 0-4 after a 100-58 loss at Florida Gulf Coast … Chelsea Guimaraes leads the team in scoring at 11.3 ppg while Ce'Nara Skanes is averaging 6.0 rebounds.
