JACKSONVILLE – Bethune-Cookman continues searching for its first road win of the season Wednesday when the Lady Wildcats meet Jacksonville in Swisher Gym at 7 p.m.

The Lady Wildcats (3-2) dropped their second road game of the young season Sunday at Georgia Southern. Last year's team went 9-3 on the road, two of those losses coming to ACC teams (Miami and Georgia Tech) and the other in overtime to North Florida.

This is the second of three consecutive road games for the three-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference regular season champions. Next week the team travels to Gainesville to face Florida before coming home for a Dec. 9 date with Flagler.

BCU UPDATE: Senior Angel Golden needs 73 points to reach the 1,000 point mark; she's coming of a career-high 32 games that included seven three-pointers Sunday at GSU … Golden and Kiana Williams were named MEAC Player Of The Week and Rookie Of The Week, respectively … BCU has been outrebounded the last four games … Chasimmie Brown is third in the MEAC in field goal percentage (.579) … Williams is fourth in assists at 4.4 per game … This is the eighth consecutive year the two teams have met.

JU UPDATE: Under first-year coach Darnell Henry, the Dolphins (3-3) downed Charleston Southern 68-58 their last time out.
