Golden's 21 and Williams' Jumper Leads @BCUWBB To 58-56 Win At JU

JACKSONVILLE -- Angel Golden posted her first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Kiana Williams' jumper with 6.6 seconds remaining lifted Bethune-Cookman to a 58-56 victory over Jacksonville Wednesday night.

The Lady Wildcats (4-2) saw a 53-43 lead entering the fourth quarter fade when Jacksonville (3-4) tied the game on a Kiara Meeks lay-up with 1:46 to play.

A steal by Armani Walker and the final of Golden's career-high 10 boards set the stage for Williams' go-ahead jumper.

Golden scored BCU's first 11 points and closed to 52 points of the 1,000 career mark.

Williams finished with 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals. Tania White had 10 points and six rebounds off the bench.

BCU travels to Florida next Wednesday.
