2 Malik Maitland has posted double-figures in four-straight thanks to nine second-half points vs. FAU for his 11 total. He added six helpers and five rebounds to his total
3 BCU just posted its second ever three-win November. Coupled with last season's 4-3 mark in the month, the Wildcats have now posted their best consecutive Novembers in program history
4 Cletrell Pope is all over the MEAC leaderboard. He is second in the conference with 16 blocks and 84 total boards. Pope paces the MEAC with his 2.0 average blocks per-game, 6.75 defensive rebound average, 10.5 rebounding average, and four double-doubles
5 The 'Cats lead the MEAC in rebounding average (44.13), defensive rebounding average (29.38), rebound margin (+7.0), steals per-game (10.0), and turnovers forced (18.25)

The junior sank the go-ahead three-pointer with 33.4 seconds remaining, than added a free throw after making a defensive steal as Bethune-Cookman pulled off a quality December win Saturday in downing Florida Atlantic 72-70 in Historic Moore Gym. It marked BCU's first win against a Conference USA opponent.
Soufiyane Diakite (15 first half points) was the early hero, then
Malik Maitland (11 points, six assists, five rebounds) was the second hero by single-handedly turning a five-point deficit into a two-point Wildcat lead.
Last Time vs. SMC and Cal Poly
SMC- (12/17/11) Remember Saint Mary's and the rest of these West Coast Conference teams come NCAA tournament time for bracket busting. Bethune-Cookman coach Gravelle Craig hopes his team remembers the rebounding and physical play the Gaels exhibited in a 77-52 Continental Tires Las Vegas Classic victory Saturday in the cozy confines of McKeown Pavilion.

CPU- (12/12/17) Malik Maitland scored 21 points as Bethune-Cookman defeated Cal Poly 67-53 Tuesday night on Coach Cy Court in Historic Moore Gym.
Shawntrez Davis had 19 points and ten rebounds as the Wildcats (5-5) fended off a Mustang (4-6) rally to snap a two-game losing streak and improve to 4-1 at home this season.
