BALTIMORE -- Back in the Charm City, Bethune-Cookman looks to stay atop the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference standings as the Lady Wildcats face Coppin State Saturday at 2 p.m. and Morgan State at 5:30 p.m.
Ranked 25th in the nation on the College Insider.com Mid-Major poll, the Lady Wildcats (19-4 overall, 11-0 MEAC) lead North Carolina A&T (15-8, 10-1) by a game for first place. North Carolina A&T hosts Howard and Maryland-Eastern this weekend, and yes, we will be tracking those games closely.
Bethune-Cookman can clinch a first-round bye for next month's conference tournament in Norfolk, Va. by winning one of the two games.

THE HISTORICAL STUFF: The Lady Wildcats need one victory to post the program's first 20-win regular season since 1984-85. The record for most wins in a season is 22 set by the 1979-80 and 1983-84 squads.
STATS AND STUFF: The Lady Wildcats are ranked tenth in the nation in 3FG% defense (27.0), 20th in blocked shots per game (5.3), 20th in scoring (55.5) and 25th in FG% defense (36.2) …
Angel Golden, who has three straight 20-point games, is fourth in the MEAC in scoring (15.4 ppg) and leads the league in 3FG per game (2.8) …
Ashanti Hunt is third in assists (4.0) and ninth in rebounding (7.4) …
Chasimmie Brown is eighth in FG% (44.2) and
Lyndsey Edwards is ninth in blocks (1.3 per game).
ABOUT COPPIN STATE: The Eagles (6-18,5-7) have lost four in a row, including a 64-38 decision to the Lady Wildcats on Feb. 3. Genesis Lucas is second in the league in scoring (16.5 ppg) and Chance Graham (12.0 ppg, 10.5 rpgs) is first in rebounding. The Eagles are 6-2 at home this season.
ABOUT MORGAN STATE: The Bears (14-11,7-5) pulled off a road swing sweep at Savannah State and Florida A&M last week and have won four of their last five. Lexus Spears (13.6), Braennan Farrar (11.5 ppg) and Tykryah Williams (11.0) are all averaging double figures.
