DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University Athletics will hold its annual Fan Day Celebration, set to take place Saturday, August 18, at 1:30 p.m. Members of the community and BCU campus are encouraged to attend the free event which takes place at Moore Gymnasium on the BCU campus. The event will conclude at 3:30 p.m.
 
The day begins with an open scrimmage for BCU Football at 10:30 a.m. That will take place on the Wildcats Practice Fields, and the public is invited to attend and watch.
 
Immediately following practice at noon, BCU Volleyball will hold its second annual Maroon and Gold match at Moore Gymnasium. Fans are encouraged to get their first glimpse at BCU Volleyball as the team participates in a match with alumni and current members of the team before the season begins August 24.
 
Afterwards, fans are encouraged to stay at Moore Gymnasium to meet student-athletes and coaches from ALL BCU Athletics for the 2018-19 season for Fan Day beginning at 1:30 p.m. This includes members of football, cross country, volleyball and all 17 of the BCU varsity sports.
 
Fans attending the event will enjoy live music, entertainment and a chance to take pictures and get autographs from their favorite Bethune-Cookman Wildcats student-athletes and coaches.
 
Fans can also purchase football season tickets through the BCU Ticket Office which is located at the Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center.
