1 BCU enters the month of March after a 5-2 February. Combined with last season's 6-2 mark, the 11-4 record over the last two year's is BCU's best February winning percentage since 1977-78 when the Wildcats went a combined 16-4
2 Saturday's matchup with South Carolina State is the 88th in the series, tied with Florida A&M for the most common opponent in BCU history. Nearly half of the 'Cat wins have come since 2011, when BCU has claimed 13 of the last 17, including two consecutive wins
3 Cletrell Pope paces the MEAC and leads the nation with an average of 4.32 offensive rebounds. He is third nationally with his 12.1 rebounding average, and fourth with 338 total boards. The redshirt-junior's 19 double-doubles ranks second in the NCAA, and his 7.75 defensive rebound average is good for 13th. Pope is third in the MEAC in total blocks (37) and in average (1.32)
4 Head Coach Ryan Ridder owns 31 wins through his first two seasons leading the Wildcats. That ranks second in BCU history for a Head Coach's first two seasons, behind his predecessor, Gravelle Craig's 32. Ridder's 18 MEAC wins is best in the first two-year span

Malik Maitland and
Cletrell Pope recorded season-bests as Bethune-Cookman picked up its third road Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win of the year, 98-73, against South Carolina State Saturday evening at the S-H-M Memorial Center.
BCU led by 11 at the break and never looked back as Maitland erupted for 29 points, tying his season-high (at Miami 11/17), and Pope grabbed his 18
thdouble-double with a high 26 points and 10 rebounds. The redshirt-junior now owns the school single-season Division 1 record for rebounds with 320, and is top-10 in overall single -season rebounding.
