The first-ever Women in Athlete Development Symposium & Networking Event is an exclusive educational, development and networking experience for select women sports leaders to help them discover the strategies and execute the steps necessary to achieve a leadership position in the athlete development industry. Recent graduate students, those currently working in athlete development positions and others seeking to advance in the industry will gain valuable knowledge, insight and advice from nationally respected women industry experts, practitioners and researchers.

The Women in Athlete Development Symposium & Networking Event is designed to help you define your career pathway in sports and create a plan to help you achieve your goals. As a participant, you will hear, discuss and interact with women industry leaders in various aspects of athlete development at the collegiate and professional levels on:

How to enter the field of athlete development
How to advance in your current position
Education, training and experiences needed in the field
How to identify and secure career opportunities
How to overcome gender barriers
How to build a network that can advance your career
