DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman closes out its 2018-19 regular season in grand fashion Thursday when the Lady Wildcats host Florida A&M Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Historic Moore Gymnasium.
BCU (17-10 overall, 10-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) can clinch a first-round bye in next week's conference tournament with a victory. Howard (10-5) and Norfolk State (9-6) are facing off at the same time.
Also on the line: A six-game winning streak against the arch-rival Rattlers (4-23,2-13).
Thursday night will also see the 2016-17 and 2018-19 MEAC regular season champion teams honored at halftime of the Men's game.

Angel Golden and
Chasimmie Brown. Golden needs 20 points to pass Katie Clark (1,368) for third on the all-time scoring list.
WHAT HAPPENED AT THEIR PLACE?  Golden's jumper with 9.1 seconds remaining lifted Bethune-Cookman to a 52-50 rivalry game victory on Feb. 23. Overcoming a 6-27 shooting night, the senior from Tampa's 14th point put the Lady Wildcats ahead 51-50.Â
Amaya Scott added a free throw as BCU made two defensive stops to preserve its fifth straight win and sixth straight in the series. Florida A&M (4-22,2-12) turned a 38-29 deficit into a 50-46 lead with 2:12 remaining.Â
Camary Harris drained a three-pointer with 2:01 play to cut it to 50-49 as the freshman, scored nine of her 13 points in the fourth quarter while Scott finished with 10 points. Brown added seven points and ten rebounds.
ABOUT FAMU: The Rattlers will be the 12
th seed at next week's conference tournament.
