Cassady Brewer homered and drove in two runs while Breanna Vasquez threw a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts as the Knights (29-18) stopped a four-game Wildcat (20-27) winning streak.
BCU had two strong scoring chances.

Sasha Killings was hit by a pitch,
Brianna Sanders singled and Quinah Mitchell walked to load the bases with one out, but the Wildcats were held scoreless.
Brianna Paysinger led off the third with a triple to right – her second three-base hit of the season – but was left stranded.
Alexis Bermudez (11-18) took the loss, working four innings.
Destiny Enriquez finished the final three innings.
BCU now focuses on its final Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference series of the season, hosting arch-rival Florida A&M this weekend at Sunnyland Park. The Wildcats trail the Rattlers by one game for the South Division's No. 1 seed at next month's conference tournament in Ormond Beach. Action starts with a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. then the regular season finale at noon Sunday preceded by Senior Day ceremonies.
