@BCUAthletics Aids Voter Registration Efforts

Wildcats Will Provide Services Daily Through Saturday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University Athletics will continue voter registration efforts daily through Saturday on the patio of the Michael and Libby Johnson Center for Civic Engagement, 740 W. International Speedway, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Athletic department staff, coaches and student-athletes will be on hand to assist those who wish to register or review their current voter status. Forms to complete the registration process and a computer to check their registration status will be on site.

Senior Associate Athletics Director Sandra Booker stressed this service is available to the entire Daytona Beach area community, not just the B-CU campus.

"In addition to our student-athletes, we invite the community to use this service," Booker said. "We're pleased to be involved and to offer it."

B-CU has emphasized the importance of voting to its student-athletes, offering assistance to those whose residence is outside Volusia County. Xxx Wildcat teams – (1) (2) (3), have 100 percent registration.

The drive started with National Voter Registration day on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and may extend after Saturday,
