DAYTONA BEACH, Fla – Thirteen Bethune-Cookman University golfers, including PGA Tour participant Willie Mack III and current Head Coach
Daniel Venema, have been named to the
Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's Men's Golf All-Time Team, presented by The Home Depot, it was announced today [June 23, 2021].
The list of 50 student-athletes throughout the conference's history was determined by more than 200 total votes were cast, with fans, media representatives, institution sports information contacts and others taking part.
To be considered on the ballot, student-athletes must have been named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team, MEAC Championship Outstanding Performer, finish top five in the PGA National Minority (now PGA WORKS) Championship or be inducted into the MEAC Hall of Fame, Black College Hall of Fame or PGA National Minority Hall of Fame.
The B-CU men's team has won 11 PGA Works Collegiate Tournament (formerly the National Minority Golf Championships and the 2014 MEAC title.

Daniel Brennan: 2018 MEAC All-Tournament.
Ian Clarke: 2015 MEAC All-Tournament; Top 5, 2015 PGA National Minority Championship.
Carl Corbin: 2008 PGA National Minority Championship medalist.
Leon Fricker: Two-time MEAC All-Tournament (2014, 2016).
Ryan Flicker: 2014 MEAC Championship Outstanding Performer; 2014 MEAC All-Tournament.
Andrew Hessom: Top 3, 2009 PGA National Minority Championship.
Christian Hovstadius: Top 2, 2019 PGA National Minority Championship; 2017 MEAC All-Tournament; tied for MEAC's fifth-lowest round all-time (69, 2018-19).
Jackson Kneeshaw: 2016 MEAC All-Tournament.
Willie Mack III: Top 3, 2010 PGA National Minority Championship.
Matthew McKnight: 2011 PGA National Minority Championship runner-up; tied for MEAC's fifth-lowest round all-time (69, 2014-15).
Joel Ramirez: 2016 MEAC All-Tournament; Top 4, 2016 PGA National Minority Championship.
Marcus Sundlof: 2019 PGA National Minority Championship medalist; tied for MEAC's fifth-lowest round all-time (69, 2018-19).
Daniel Venema: Top 3, 2008 PGA National Minority Championship.
