The Wildcats ride some big-time momentum into Wednesday's contest following a thrilling win over Florida A&M Monday night. After over 10 days without taking the floor, B-CU emerged to take a 66-59 victory over the Rattlers.
Kevin Davis led the Wildcats' efforts with a 26 point, 13 rebound double-double in the win.
Scouting the Panthers
After opening their season with a close loss at Georgia, FIU rattled off eight straight wins. Since then, the Panthers have struggled, dropping three of their last four games. Most recently, the Panthers defeated St. Thomas University, 95-72 on New Year's Day.
FIU averages 76.1 points per game and allows an average of 66.2 points per game. The Panthers are shooting 44 percent from the field and 36 percent from behind the arc this season. Tevin Brewer leads the Panthers with 15.5 points per game and nearly six assists per game. Clevon Brown averages 6.1 rebounds per game.

- Wednesday's game was originally scheduled to be played on Dec. 19, but it was postponed in an abundance of caution due to COVID-19.
- B-CU is allowing only 69.8 points per game this season to opponents – the fourth-best mark in the SWAC and less than a point behind the overall SWAC lead in the category.
- B-CU has turned the ball over only 152 times this season – the third-lowest mark in the SWAC.
- Damani McEntire averages 2.4 steals per game, the third-highest mark in the SWAC.

This will be the third meeting all-time between FIU and B-CU. The Panthers have taken both games, most recently defeating the Wildcats 82-67 on Nov. 21, 2013 at Moore Gymnasium.
