BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – For the second straight game, a Big Ten opponent proved a bit too much to handle as the Wildcats fell, 101-49 to Indiana, Thursday night in Bloomington.
How it Happened
The Wildcats (0-2, 0-0 SWAC) started strong in the opening minutes of the contest, keeping pace with the Hoosiers (2-0, 0-0 Big Ten) well beyond the second media timeout.
From there, the Wildcats' offense stagnated. The Hoosiers took advantage with two big runs, ending the Wildcats upset hopes.
Joe French led the Wildcats with 11 points. Marcus Garrett followed just behind with ten, as well as four assists.
Damani McEntire swiped three steals on the night.

- The Wildcats made only 3 of 15 three-point tries on the night.
- 26 of 49 B-CU points came in the paint.
- The B-CU bench scored only nine points.
- The Wildcats were out-rebounded, 14-29.
- The Wildcats made 6-13 free throw attempts. Indiana made 21-22.
