BOCA RATON, Fla. – Day two for Bethune-Cookman at the Florida Atlantic First Pitch tournament saw the Wildcats face two Big 10 opponents, falling 7-2 to Ohio State and 3-1 to Indiana on Saturday.
The Wildcats (1-3) battled Indiana late, having bases loaded in both the sixth and seventh inning and ended each inning with a play at the plate.

Kayla Traylor for B-CU's lone run in the seventh.
Hannah Ortega, who registered the win Friday against Northern Illinois, had a strong performance in the circle Saturday, scattering seven hits with no walks and two strikeouts.
In the opener, Ohio State scored two runs in the first, third and fourth to take a 6-0 lead.
B-CU scored its runs in the fifth when
Shania Owens and
Haley Parks plated on wild pitches.
Joslynn Davis had two hits B-CU in the opener, while
Desirae Martinez posted a double.
B-CU concludes opening weekend Sunday against host FAU at 2:30 p.m.
