LEESBURG, Fla. – Week two of the 2022 Bethune-Cookman softball season takes the Wildcats to Leesburg for the Orlando Spring Games beginning Friday at 11:00 a.m.
The Wildcats (1-3) will face Hofstra at 11 a.m. and Monmouth at 4 p.m. Friday.
Saturday sees the Wildcats meet SEC power Missouri and Maryland of the ACC at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively.
The weekend concludes with a Sunday morning showdown against Butler at 9 a.m.
B-CU returned to action for the first time since 2020 last week at Florida Atlantic. The Wildcats registered a 2-1 victory in the opener against Northern Illinois before dropping games to Louisville, Ohio State, and Indiana. The Indiana game saw B-CU loading the bases in both the sixth and seventh before falling 3-1.
Hannah Ortega had a solid weekend in the circle for B-CU, registering the complete-game victory and containing Indiana to three runs. She enters this weekend with a 1.93 ERA.

The Wildcats travel to Cathedral City, California, for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. B-CU faces Brigham Young, California State Northridge, University of Arizona, University of San Diego, and University of California Riverside.
