BATON ROUGE, La. – Bethune-Cookman begins a three-game road swing Saturday when the Wildcats face Southern Saturday at 4 p.m. EST.
The Wildcats (5-19 overall, 4-11 Southwestern Athletic Conference) will play Grambling State on Monday and Florida A&M next Saturday to conclude their inaugural Southwestern Athletic Conference season.
B-CU, who lost in overtime Monday to Alabama State, is trying to snap a three-game losing streak.
WILDCAT UPDATE: Kayla Clark is coming off career-highs of 18 points and 19 rebounds in Monday's setback. The freshman leads B-CU in rebounding with an average of 7.9 per night.
Morgan Beacham leads B-CU in scoring at 9.7 points per game, followed by
Tania White at 9.3.
B-CU lost to Southern(11-14, 9-5) 74-47 in the first meeting.
Taylor Williams led the Wildcats with. Grambling State (10-15,7-7) also won its first meeting with B-CU, 66-61, on Jan. 8 in which White registered a career-high 20 points.
