ITTA BENA, Miss. – Bethune-Cookman returns to Mississippi, this time for a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference series at Mississippi Valley State beginning Friday.
The Wildcats (8-18 overall, 3-3 SWAC) are coming off taking two of three from Alabama State last weekend while the Delta Devilettes (5-13,3-2) dropped two of three at Florida A&M.
Mississippi Valley State enters the weekend a half game behind Jackson State and Alabama State in the SWAC's Eastern Division while B-CU is a full game behind.
B-CU UPDATE: After falling 3-2 in the series opener, B-CU posted its two best offensive outputs of the season by sweeping Alabama State 8-0 and 6-5 in the doubleheader to win the series … B-CU had a season-high 15 hits in the nightcap …
