DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M renew their storied softball rivalry this weekend when the two teams meet in a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference series with a doubleheader slated for 2 p.m. and a single game Monday at 2 p.m. at Sunnyland Park.
The two programs combined for 23 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships, including the 2018 and 2019 titles by B-CU. This will be the first meeting between the two schools since that 2019 MEAC championship tournament.
Both teams are 4-5 in SWAC play. Last weekend, B-CU (9-20) took one of three games from Mississippi Valley State while FAMU (9-21) won two out of three against Alabama A&M.
